From the River to the Community
A New Columbia Begins Here.
Columbia Dam – Water for the People
Our mission starts with restoring the Duck River and reviving the Columbia Dam. Through grassroots action and visionary partnerships, we’re building a future where nature, people, and progress thrive together.
We are working to revive the Columbia Dam project — not just for better infrastructure, but for the people of Columbia, the health of the Duck River, and the future of our region. This is more than a restoration effort. It’s a movement. Once finished, the newly formed lake will also provide a host of recreational opportunities and environmental benefits.
Why Support the Dam?
WATER
Restoring the dam means stabilizing water levels, improving flow, and protecting the Duck River—the lifeline of Columbia—for generations to come.
RECREATION
The project will open new opportunities for fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, and outdoor enjoyment, bringing families and visitors back to the water.
COMMUNITY
Rebuilding the dam strengthens local infrastructure, creates jobs, and unites Columbia around a project that benefits everyone.
DID WE MENTION WATER?
Reliable water resources are essential for health, safety, and growth—this effort ensures our community will always have access to clean, steady water.
